Willis Pharmacy believes it should be easy to access healthcare in your local area, when you need it – that’s why we offer the NHS Pharmacy First Scotland and NHS Pharmacy First Plus Scotland in all our pharmacies.
This free service is available to anyone who is living in or registered with a GP in Scotland and allows you access to the right care in the right place. Our expert and friendly pharmacy teams can provide treatment for common clinical conditions like urinary tract infections, coughs and colds, allergies and many others. No need to book an appointment – just pop into your local pharmacy.
An extension to NHS Pharmacy First Scotland, this free service offers patients in-pharmacy access to advice, treatment, and referral from an Independent Prescriber. An Independent Prescriber is a pharmacist who is expertly trained to offer advanced consultation and advice relating to common clinical conditions. They can assess and manage acute conditions that can’t be dealt with under the standard Pharmacy First Scotland Service. Advice can be offered on conditions such as tonsilitis, infected eczema, cellulitis, ear pain and impetigo.
